As part of this commitment, we are considering an additional citybound bus and bike lane along Mt Eden Road to help improve reliability and encourage further bus use. Public consultation was undertaken during October, and closed on 3 November 2004. Thank you to all those who submitted feedback; this will be analysed and reported to the council, community boards and council officers, and will help council make its decision on the proposal. The proposed changes are:
The proposed lane is 350 metres long and would operate between 7am and 9am, Monday to Friday. On-street parking spaces would be temporarily removed during these times to accommodate the lane. Check out the plan of the proposed changes.
