Stay informed

Auckland City Council is dedicated to keeping the public informed about the Central Connector. As part of this plan two key people have recently joined the team in local support roles.

Greg Horne is Auckland City Council's ambassador for the Central Connector project. His role is to communicate work updates and other related information to you as well as gathering feedback and relaying it to the contractor. Greg will act as the "eyes and ears" of the Central Connector, making sure the area is safe and tidy while works are being carried out.

Nettie Bird has recently joined contractor Fulton Hogan as contract liaison manager. Nettie will be working with Auckland City Council to ensure business owners, local residents and others who work in or visit the area are kept informed on all issues relating to the Central Connector.

Further to having Greg and Nettie on board, two visitor information hubs have been positioned along the route. The hubs will be set up with display boards detailing information on work plans and the final vision for the Central Connector. In addition, Nettie or Greg will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

The hubs will be positioned on Symonds Street, near The University of Auckland on the corner of Park Road and Carlton Gore Road, near Auckland Domain.
