Renew dog registration


Dog paw.

If your dog has been previously registered in Auckland city you should receive a renewal notice in June each year. 

Please check the following details are correct on the form:

  • class of dog
  • your address
  • name of owner
  • date of birth of owner

Find out how to renew registration if any of these details have changed or if you haven't received a renewal form in the mail.

Strap tags are not available if registering online. Owners who register online will receive a registration disc.

  • your dog reference number listed on your renewal form
    • do not enter dashes, 12345-6 should be entered as 123456
  • your credit card details - Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

  • when using the service we recommend that you use the navigation buttons provided within the screens.  Use of the 'enter' key in some screens may have unexpected results.

What's next

At the end you will be given a reference number. Receipts for online payments are not available, however you can either print the screen or note down the details for future reference. Phone us on (09) 379-1344 or email us if you have any problems.
