You need to be able to identify the specific address, so it would help if you also know the legal description or certificate of title (CT) of the property.

urgent LIMs cost $312 incl GST and take 4 business hours to process. Urgent LIMs are not available for Great Barrier Island properties
non-urgent LIMs cost $243 incl GST and take between five and ten working days to process.

What you can order	The online LIM application can be used for any property within Auckland City's boundaries. These are the Auckland isthmus - the Waitemata Harbour to the north, the Tamaki River to the east, the suburb of Otahuhu to the south and the suburbs of Avondale and Blockhouse Bay and the Manukau Harbour to the west - and properties on Waiheke and Great Barrier islands. Please note: Urgent LIMs are not available for Great Barrier Island.
How you can pay	By the following methods: credit card types - Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club. customer account
You will need	credit card or account customer details you need to search by the address the application is for. You will need to be able to identify the specific address so it would help if you also know the legal description or certificate of title (CT) of the property. The application session will expire after 20 minutes so make sure you have everything you need before you start.
Instructions	read the terms and conditions for transaction processing services find out about Auckland City's privacy and security policies here. click on Order online now - this will open a new window if are an account customer you need to sign in before you start you will be presented with a series of screens where you will find step by step instructions as you go through the application process - use the Help content located in menu option Other >> Help, if you need more detailed assistance at the end you will be given a reference number. Receipts for online applications are not available, however you can either print the screen or note down the details for future reference close the browser window when you are finished. When using the service we recommend that you use the navigation buttons provided within the screens. Use of the 'enter' key in some screens may have unexpected results.
If you have a problem	If there are a number of addresses with the same street number and street name, check the legal description and certificate of title to confirm the correct address. You should be able to find out these details from the real estate agent for the property. Electronic delivery

Please note: Electronic LIMs are not available for properties in the CBD and Great Barrier Island.

You can choose to have your LIM delivered electronically. If you choose this option:

we will send you an email with a link to where you can download your LIM in PDF format. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click here for more information
you will have 14 days to download and print the LIM
the electronic LIM should be printed in colour so that property maps and plans can be read easily
due to the length of the url or your individual screen settings, the email link may wrap around to the next line making it invalid. Check that the file extension at the end of the web address is included in the same line and is therefore part of the link
we limit the size of LIMs that can be delivered electronically to maximum of 4MB (most LIMs are under this size). For very large LIMs (over 4Mb) we will contact you to arrange delivery of a printed version
standard processing times apply to LIMs delivered electronically
consider the likely download time before choosing to receive an electronic LIM. PDF files in excess of 1MB may take several minutes to download.

When ordering an electronic LIM, please do not use a Yahoo email address to receive it as Yahoo does not currently recognize emails from Auckland City.

Courier delivery

Please note that couriers are only available within the immediate Auckland area, ie from Albany to Papakura. For couriers outside this area, customers will need to make their own arrangements to have the product collected.
