Valuation objections

This online service is for objections to property valuations.

We want to hear from you if your property has changed through alterations or subdivision and you feel that this has not been reflected in your new valuation. You have a statutory right to object to all or any of the values provided in the Notice of Valuation.

Note that you cannot object on the grounds of any possible effects of new values on your rates. Also note that a successful objection on one value, may result in adjustments to the other values. More about valuation objections.

Help and about this service

About this online service
Supporting information Include supporting information and possible sources of more information with your objection. The onus of proof is on you.

For security reasons we can only accept attachments in tiff format. If you want to include information to support your objection, you will need to scan this and save it as a .tif file on your computer before you can attach it to your objection.

If you cannot supply supporting material in this format, please post the documents quoting the property valuation number as reference to:
Valuations Manager, Auckland City Council, Private Bag 92516, Wellesley Street, Auckland

A .tif file is a file format for storing images. Scan and save supporting information in TIFF format ending with the .tif extension

TIFF is an acronym for tagged image file format
