Overview
The Eastern Bays Community Board and Auckland City Council are looking at the future enhancement of Churchill Park. This project
looks at implementing the management plan
for the park and developing the park in line with the concept of a 'countryside in the city' park.
A masterplan for future enhancements to the park will be developed. Implementation is planned to take place in stages over the
next 30 years.
Between 14 March 2006 and 13 April 2006 a draft concept plan for the park was presented to the community for public feedback and
comment. As a result of the submissions received, a revised concept plan has been developed. This revised plan
has been endorsed by the Eastern Bays Community Board and the councils Arts Community and Recreation Committee.
