Community projects

Auckland City Council, with its geographical overview and strong links with community and local community organisations, is strategically placed to work with different sectors and agencies to achieve sustainable outcomes for communities.

The community based projects on this page are Auckland City Council initiated and/or developed and implemented in partnership with other groups.

Projects developed in partnership with others:

These projects are developed in partnership with central government. The primary aim is to work with government departments, local service providers and community workers to facilitate local planning, and develop projects based on the needs of the community with the objective of strengthening those communities.

The first three projects currently being implemented are funded by the Ministry of Health.
