Background
Lumsden Green Reserve sits at the corner of Broadway and Khyber Pass Road in
Newmarket.
It is a small, but popular reserve in the middle of Newmarket's busy shopping
strip. It attracts shoppers, workers and students from neighbouring schools.
Currently the park consists of a series of mounded hills, mature trees,
seating and shade structures, and a number of sculptures.
Funding of $1.2 million has now been secured to upgrade the park.
