Photographs from 1982 to 1992
Marg Morrow

In 1985, Marg Morrow spent six months working for the Hokianga County Council documenting and photographing the people of the North Hokianga. Travelling to school events, political hui, cultural festivals, and visiting local identities, she compiled a body of work that shows an important emerging consciousness of the people of the Hokianga. This body of work portrays the people within their own environment and the land they have in common. These people bring the landscape alive. This page features a small selection of Marg Morrow photos on display in whakapau tangata.

Prints of any of these photographs may be purchased from the artist/photographer directly. For more information please email us.
