BMW Auckland Regatta Week

We are delighted to sponsor for a second time, the BMW Auckland Regatta 2009. The event offers 15 different sailing divisions over three days, racing at two of Auckland's eastern beaches.

This popular and competitive event expecting once again, top-class amateur sailors in the Auckland region, and around New Zealand making this an event not to be missed by sailing and racing enthusiasts and spectators.

Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and Buckland's Beach Yacht Club have combined resources to create the regatta week, now in its second year.

The winning skipper and crew from each division of the BMW Auckland Regatta are invited to compete in the New Zealand BMW Sailing Cup, which is sailed on the MRX-class of yachts and takes place from 28 February to 1 March 2009 in Auckland.

The winning team of the NZ BMW Sailing Cup will then compete in the international BMW Sailing Cup which will be hosted in Italy in April 2009.
