The Auckland Writers and Readers festival is an opportunity to listen to and question a wide range of top international and local authors on their works, their inspirations and their challenges.

The festival brings together over 100 acclaimed New Zealand writers, more than 20 international writers and thousands of readers. It features over 60 separate sessions over four days:

• panel discussions
• book launches
• poetry events

• and free to public events.
